Surah Al-Baqarah · Ayah 191

“And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter. And fight not with them at the Inviolable Place of Worship until they first attack you there, but if they attack you (there) then slay them. Such is the reward of disbelievers.”

“And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have Turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith.”

“And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.”

“আর তাদেরকে হত্যাকর যেখানে পাও সেখানেই এবং তাদেরকে বের করে দাও সেখান থেকে যেখান থেকে তারা বের করেছে তোমাদেরকে। বস্তুতঃ ফেতনা ফ্যাসাদ বা দাঙ্গা-হাঙ্গামা সৃষ্টি করা হত্যার চেয়েও কঠিন অপরাধ। আর তাদের সাথে লড়াই করো না মসজিদুল হারামের নিকটে যতক্ষণ না তারা তোমাদের সাথে সেখানে লড়াই করে। অবশ্য যদি তারা নিজেরাই তোমাদের সাথে লড়াই করে। তাহলে তাদেরকে হত্যা কর। এই হল কাফেরদের শাস্তি।”

“اور ان کو جہاں پاؤ قتل کردو اور جہاں سے انہوں نے تم کو نکالا ہے (یعنی مکے سے) وہاں سے تم بھی ان کو نکال دو۔ اور (دین سے گمراہ کرنے کا) فساد قتل وخونریزی سے کہیں بڑھ کر ہے اور جب تک وہ تم سے مسجد محترم (یعنی خانہ کعبہ) کے پاس نہ لڑیں تم بھی وہاں ان سے نہ لڑنا۔ ہاں اگر وہ تم سے لڑیں تو تم ان کو قتل کرڈالو۔ کافروں کی یہی سزا ہے”
