Surah Al-Furqan · Ayah 21

“And those who look not for a meeting with Us say: Why are angels not sent down unto us and (Why) do we not see our Lord! Assuredly they think too highly of themselves and are scornful with great pride.”

“Such as fear not the meeting with Us (for Judgment) say: "Why are not the angels sent down to us, or (why) do we not see our Lord?" Indeed they have an arrogant conceit of themselves, and mighty is the insolence of their impiety!”

“And those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Why were not angels sent down to us, or [why] do we [not] see our Lord?" They have certainly become arrogant within themselves and [become] insolent with great insolence.”

“যারা আমার সাক্ষাৎ আশা করে না, তারা বলে, আমাদের কাছে ফেরেশতা অবতীর্ণ করা হল না কেন? অথবা আমরা আমাদের পালনকর্তাকে দেখি না কেন? তারা নিজেদের অন্তরে অহংকার পোষণ করে এবং গুরুতর অবাধ্যতায় মেতে উঠেছে।”

“اور جو لوگ ہم سے ملنے کی امید نہیں رکھتے۔ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم پر فرشتے کیوں نہ نازل کئے گئے۔ یا ہم اپنی آنکھ سے اپنے پروردگار کو دیکھ لیں۔ یہ اپنے خیال میں بڑائی رکھتے ہیں اور (اسی بنا پر) بڑے سرکش ہو رہے ہی”
