Surah Aal ʿImran · Ayah 4

Min qablu hudal linnaasi wa anzalal Furqaan; innallazeena kafaroo bi Aayaatil laahi lahum 'azaabun shadeed; wallaahu 'azeezun zun tiqaam

“Aforetime, for a guidance to mankind; and hath revealed the Criterion (of right and wrong). Lo! those who disbelieve the revelations of Allah, theirs will be a heavy doom. Allah is Mighty, Able to Requite (the wrong).”

“Then those who reject Faith in the Signs of Allah will suffer the severest penalty, and Allah is Exalted in Might, Lord of Retribution.”

“Before, as guidance for the people. And He revealed the Qur'an. Indeed, those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah will have a severe punishment, and Allah is exalted in Might, the Owner of Retribution.”

“নাযিল করেছেন তাওরত ও ইঞ্জিল, এ কিতাবের পূর্বে, মানুষের হেদায়েতের জন্যে এবং অবতীর্ণ করেছেন মীমাংসা। নিঃসন্দেহে যারা আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহ অস্বীকার করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠিন আযাব। আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন পরাক্রমশীল, প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণকারী।”

“(یعنی) لوگوں کی ہدایت کے لیے پہلے (تورات اور انجیل اتاری) اور (پھر قرآن جو حق اور باطل کو) الگ الگ کر دینے والا (ہے) نازل کیا جو لوگ خدا کی آیتوں کا انکار کرتے ہیں ان کو سخت عذاب ہوگا اور خدا زبردست (اور) بدلہ لینے والا ہے”
