Surah Saba · Ayah 45

“Those before them denied, and these have not attained a tithe of that which We bestowed on them (of old); yet they denied My messengers. How intense then was My abhorrence (of them)!”

“And their predecessors rejected (the Truth); these have not received a tenth of what We had granted to those: yet when they rejected My messengers, how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)!”

“And those before them denied, and the people of Makkah have not attained a tenth of what We had given them. But the former peoples denied My messengers, so how [terrible] was My reproach.”

“তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও মিথ্যা আরোপ করেছে। আমি তাদেরকে যা দিয়েছিলাম, এরা তার এক দশমাংশও পায়নি। এরপরও তারা আমার রাসূলগনকে মিথ্যা বলেছে। অতএব কেমন হয়েছে আমার শাস্তি।”

“اور جو لوگ ان سے پہلے تھے انہوں نے تکذیب کی تھی اور جو کچھ ہم نے ان کو دیا تھا یہ اس کے دسویں حصے کو بھی نہیں پہنچے تو انہوں نے میرے پیغمبروں کو جھٹلایا۔ سو میرا عذاب کیسا ہوا”
