Surah Fussilat · Ayah 14

Iz jaaa'at humur Rusulu mim baini aydeehim wa min khalfihim allaa ta'budooo illal laaha qaaloo law shaaa'a Rabunaa la anzala malaaa 'ikatan fa innaa bimaaa ursiltum bihee kaafiroon

“When their messengers came unto them from before them and behind them, saying: Worship none but Allah! they said: If our Lord had willed, He surely would have sent down angels (unto us), so lo! we are disbelievers in that wherewith ye have been sent.”

“Behold, the messengers came to them, from before them and behind them, (preaching): "Serve none but Allah." They said, "If our Lord had so pleased, He would certainly have sent down angels (to preach). Now we reject your mission (altogether)."”

“[That occurred] when the messengers had come to them before them and after them, [saying], "Worship not except Allah." They said, "If our Lord had willed, He would have sent down the angels, so indeed we, in that with which you have been sent, are disbelievers."”

“যখন তাদের কাছে রসূলগণ এসেছিলেন সম্মুখ দিক থেকে এবং পিছন দিক থেকে এ কথা বলতে যে, তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত কারও পূজা করো না। তারা বলেছিল, আমাদের পালনকর্তা ইচ্ছা করলে অবশ্যই ফেরেশতা প্রেরণ করতেন, অতএব, আমরা তোমাদের আনীত বিষয় অমান্য করলাম।”

“جب ان کے پاس پیغمبر ان کے آگے اور پیچھے سے آئے کہ خدا کے سوا (کسی کی) عبادت نہ کرو۔ کہنے لگے کہ اگر ہمارا پروردگار چاہتا تو فرشتے اُتار دیتا سو جو تم دے کر بھیجے گئے ہو ہم اس کو نہیں مانتے”
