Surah Fussilat · Ayah 25

“And We assigned them comrades (in the world), who made their present and their past fairseeming unto them. And the Word concerning nations of the jinn and humankind who passed away before them hath effect for them. Lo! they were ever losers.”

“And We have destined for them intimate companions (of like nature), who made alluring to them what was before them and behind them; and the sentence among the previous generations of Jinns and men, who have passed away, is proved against them; for they are utterly lost.”

“And We appointed for them companions who made attractive to them what was before them and what was behind them [of sin], and the word has come into effect upon them among nations which had passed on before them of jinn and men. Indeed, they [all] were losers.”

“আমি তাদের পেছনে সঙ্গী লাগিয়ে দিয়েছিলাম, অতঃপর সঙ্গীরা তাদের অগ্র-পশ্চাতের আমল তাদের দৃষ্টিতে শোভনীয় করে দিয়েছিল। তাদের ব্যাপারেও শাস্তির আদেশ বাস্তবায়িত হল, যা বাস্তবায়িত হয়েছিল তাদের পূর্ববতী জিন ও মানুষের ব্যাপারে। নিশ্চয় তারা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।”

“اور ہم نے (شیطانوں کو) ان کا ہم نشین مقرر کردیا تھا تو انہوں نے ان کے اگلے اور پچھلے اعمال ان کو عمدہ کر دکھائے تھے اور جنات اور انسانوں کی جماعتیں جو ان سے پہلے گذر چکیں ان پر بھی خدا (کے عذاب) کا وعدہ پورا ہوگیا۔ بےشک یہ نقصان اٹھانے والے ہیں”
