Surah Fussilat · Ayah 39

“And of His portents (is this): that thou seest the earth lowly, but when We send down water thereon it thrilleth and groweth. Lo! He Who quickeneth it is verily the Quickener of the Dead. Lo! He is Able to do all things.”

“And among His Signs in this: thou seest the earth barren and desolate; but when We send down rain to it, it is stirred to life and yields increase. Truly, He Who gives life to the (dead) earth can surely give life to (men) who are dead. For He has power over all things.”

“And of His signs is that you see the earth stilled, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and grows. Indeed, He who has given it life is the Giver of Life to the dead. Indeed, He is over all things competent.”

“তাঁর এক নিদর্শন এই যে, তুমি ভূমিকে দেখবে অনুর্বর পড়ে আছে। অতঃপর আমি যখন তার উপর বৃষ্টি বর্ষণ করি, তখন সে শস্যশ্যামল ও স্ফীত হয়। নিশ্চয় যিনি একে জীবিত করেন, তিনি জীবিত করবেন মৃতদেরকেও। নিশ্চয় তিনি সবকিছু করতে সক্ষম।”

“اور (اے بندے یہ) اسی کی قدرت کے نمونے ہیں کہ تو زمین کو دبی ہوئی (یعنی خشک) دیکھتا ہے۔ جب ہم اس پر پانی برسا دیتے ہیں تو شاداب ہوجاتی اور پھولنے لگتی ہے تو جس نے زمین کو زندہ کیا وہی مردوں کو زندہ کرنے والا ہے۔ بےشک وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے”
