Surah Al-Hujurat · Ayah 2

Yaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa tarfa'ooo aswaatakum fawqa sawtin Nabiyi wa laa tajharoo lahoo bilqawli kajahri ba'dikum liba 'din an tahbata a 'maalukum wa antum laa tash'uroon

“O ye who believe! Lift not up your voices above the voice of the Prophet, nor shout when speaking to him as ye shout one to another, lest your works be rendered vain while ye perceive not.”

“O ye who believe! Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet, nor speak aloud to him in talk, as ye may speak aloud to one another, lest your deeds become vain and ye perceive not.”

“O you who have believed, do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet or be loud to him in speech like the loudness of some of you to others, lest your deeds become worthless while you perceive not.”

“মুমিনগণ! তোমরা নবীর কন্ঠস্বরের উপর তোমাদের কন্ঠস্বর উঁচু করো না এবং তোমরা একে অপরের সাথে যেরূপ উঁচুস্বরে কথা বল, তাঁর সাথে সেরূপ উঁচুস্বরে কথা বলো না। এতে তোমাদের কর্ম নিস্ফল হয়ে যাবে এবং তোমরা টেরও পাবে না।”

“اے اہل ایمان! اپنی آوازیں پیغمبر کی آواز سے اونچی نہ کرو اور جس طرح آپس میں ایک دوسرے سے زور سے بولتے ہو (اس طرح) ان کے روبرو زور سے نہ بولا کرو (ایسا نہ ہو) کہ تمہارے اعمال ضائع ہوجائیں اور تم کو خبر بھی نہ ہو”
