Surah Al-Maidah · Ayah 64

“The Jews say: Allah's hand is fettered. Their hands are fettered and they are accursed for saying so. Nay, but both His hands are spread out wide in bounty. He bestoweth as He will. That which hath been revealed unto thee from thy Lord is certain to increase the contumacy and disbelief of many of them, and We have cast among them enmity and hatred till the Day of Resurrection. As often as they light a fire for war, Allah extinguisheth it. Their effort is for corruption in the land, and Allah loveth not corrupters.”

“The Jews say: "Allah's hand is tied up." Be their hands tied up and be they accursed for the (blasphemy) they utter. Nay, both His hands are widely outstretched: He giveth and spendeth (of His bounty) as He pleaseth. But the revelation that cometh to thee from Allah increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. Amongst them we have placed enmity and hatred till the Day of Judgment. Every time they kindle the fire of war, Allah doth extinguish it; but they (ever) strive to do mischief on earth. And Allah loveth not those who do mischief.”

“And the Jews say, "The hand of Allah is chained." Chained are their hands, and cursed are they for what they say. Rather, both His hands are extended; He spends however He wills. And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. And We have cast among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. Every time they kindled the fire of war [against you], Allah extinguished it. And they strive throughout the land [causing] corruption, and Allah does not like corrupters.”

“আর ইহুদীরা বলেঃ আল্লাহর হাত বন্ধ হয়ে গেছে। তাদেরই হাত বন্ধ হোক। একথা বলার জন্যে তাদের প্রতি অভিসম্পাত। বরং তাঁর উভয় হস্ত উম্মুক্ত। তিনি যেরূপ ইচ্ছা ব্যয় করেন। আপনার প্রতি পলনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে যে কালাম অবর্তীণ হয়েছে, তার কারণে তাদের অনেকের অবাধ্যতা ও কুফর পরিবর্ধিত হবে। আমি তাদের পরস্পরের মধ্যে কেয়ামত পর্যন্ত শত্রুতা ও বিদ্বেষ সঞ্চারিত করে দিয়েছি। তারা যখনই যুদ্ধের আগুন প্রজ্জ?482;িত করে, আল্লাহ তা নির্বাপিত করে দেন। তারা দেশে অশান্তি উৎপাদন করে বেড়ায়। আল্লাহ অশান্তি ও বিশৃঙ্খলা সৃষ্টিকারীদেরকে পছন্দ করেন না।”

“اور یہود کہتے ہیں کہ خدا کا ہاتھ (گردن سے) بندھا ہوا ہے (یعنی الله بخیل ہے) انہیں کے ہاتھ باندھے جائیں اور ایسا کہنے کے سبب ان پر لعنت ہو (اس کا ہاتھ بندھا ہوا نہیں) بلکہ اس کے دونوں ہاتھ کھلے ہیں وہ جس طرح (اور جتنا) چاہتا ہے خرچ کرتا ہے اور (اے محمد) یہ (کتاب) جو تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے تم پر نازل ہوئی اس سے ان میں سے اکثر کی شرارت اور انکار اور بڑھے گا اور ہم نے ان کے باہم عداوت اور بغض قیامت تک کے لیے ڈال دیا ہے یہ جب لڑائی کے لیے آگ جلاتے ہیں خدا اس کو بجھا دیتا ہے اور یہ ملک میں فساد کے لیے دوڑے پھرتے ہیں اور خدا فساد کرنے والوں کو دوست نہیں رکھتا”
