Today’s verse
Surah Al-Anam · Ayah 9
makki
وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَٰهُ مَلَكًۭا لَّجَعَلْنَٰهُ رَجُلًۭا وَلَلَبَسْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّا يَلْبِسُونَ
Wa law ja'alnaahu malakal laja'alnaahu rajulanw wa lalabasnaa 'alaihim maa yalbisoon
“Had we appointed him (Our messenger) an angel, We assuredly had made him (as) a man (that he might speak to men); and (thus) obscured for them (the truth) they (now) obscure.”
“If We had made it an angel, We should have sent him as a man, and We should certainly have caused them confusion in a matter which they have already covered with confusion.”
“And if We had made him an angel, We would have made him [appear as] a man, and We would have covered them with that in which they cover themselves.”
“যদি আমি কোন ফেরেশতাকে রসূল করে পাঠাতাম, তবে সে মানুষের আকারেই হত। এতেও ঐ সন্দেহই করত, যা এখন করছে।”
“نیز اگر ہم کسی فرشتہ کو بھیجتے تو اسے مرد کی صورت میں بھیجتے اور جو شبہ (اب) کرتے ہیں اسی شبے میں پھر انہیں ڈال دیتے”
