Surah Nuh · Ayah 4
makki
يَغْفِرْ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرْكُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍۢ مُّسَمًّى ۚ إِنَّ أَجَلَ ٱللَّهِ إِذَا جَآءَ لَا يُؤَخَّرُ ۖ لَوْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
Yaghfir lakum min zunoobikum wa yu'akhkhirkum ilaaa ajalim musammaa; innaa ajalal laahi izaa jaaa'a laa yu'akhkhar; law kuntum ta'lamoon
“That He may forgive you somewhat of your sins and respite you to an appointed term. Lo! the term of Allah, when it cometh, cannot be delayed, if ye but knew.”
“"So He may forgive you your sins and give you respite for a stated Term: for when the Term given by Allah is accomplished, it cannot be put forward: if ye only knew."”
“Allah will forgive you of your sins and delay you for a specified term. Indeed, the time [set by] Allah, when it comes, will not be delayed, if you only knew.' "”
“আল্লাহ তা’আলা তোমাদের পাপসমূহ ক্ষমা করবেন এবং নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর্যন্ত অবকাশ দিবেন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তা’আলার নির্দিষ্টকাল যখন হবে, তখন অবকাশ দেয়া হবে না, যদি তোমরা তা জানতে!”
“وہ تمہارے گناہ بخش دے گا اور (موت کے) وقت مقررہ تک تم کو مہلت عطا کرے گا۔ جب خدا کا مقرر کیا ہوگا وقت آجاتا ہے تو تاخیر نہیں ہوتی۔ کاش تم جانتے ہوتے”
