Surah At-Tawbah · Ayah 5

Fa izansalakhal Ashhurul Hurumu faqtulul mushrikeena haisu wajattumoohum wa khuzoohum wahsuroohum qaq'udoo lahum kulla marsad; fa-in taaboo wa aqaamus Salaata wa aatawuz Zakaata fakhalloo sabeelahum; innal laaha Ghafoorur Raheem

“Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.”

“But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.”

“And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.”

“অতঃপর নিষিদ্ধ মাস অতিবাহিত হলে মুশরিকদের হত্যা কর যেখানে তাদের পাও, তাদের বন্দী কর এবং অবরোধ কর। আর প্রত্যেক ঘাঁটিতে তাদের সন্ধানে ওঁৎ পেতে বসে থাক। কিন্তু যদি তারা তওবা করে, নামায কায়েম করে, যাকাত আদায় করে, তবে তাদের পথ ছেড়ে দাও। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ অতি ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।”

“جب عزت کے مہینے گزر جائیں تو مشرکوں کو جہاں پاؤ قتل کر دو اور پکڑلو اور گھیرلو اور ہر گھات کی جگہ ان کی تاک میں بیٹھے رہو۔ پھر اگر وہ توبہ کرلیں اور نماز پڑھنے اور زکوٰة دینے لگیں تو ان کی راہ چھوڑ دو۔ بےشک خدا بخشنے والا مہربان ہے”
