Surah Al-Furqan · Ayah 3

وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةًۭ لَّا يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْـًۭٔا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ لِأَنفُسِهِمْ ضَرًّۭا وَلَا نَفْعًۭا وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ مَوْتًۭا وَلَا حَيَوٰةًۭ وَلَا نُشُورًۭا
Wattakhazoo min dooniheee aahihatal laa yakhluqoona shai'anw wa hum yukhlaqoona wa laa yamlikoona li anfusihim darranw wa laa naf'anw wa laa yamlikoona mawtanw wa laa hayaatanw wa laa nushooraa
“Yet they choose beside Him other gods who create naught but are themselves created, and possess not hurt nor profit for themselves, and possess not death nor life, nor power to raise the dead.”
“Yet have they taken, besides him, gods that can create nothing but are themselves created; that have no control of hurt or good to themselves; nor can they control death nor life nor resurrection.”
“But they have taken besides Him gods which create nothing, while they are created, and possess not for themselves any harm or benefit and possess not [power to cause] death or life or resurrection.”
“তারা তাঁর পরিবর্তে কত উপাস্য গ্রহণ করেছে, যারা কিছুই সৃষ্টি করে না এবং তারা নিজেরাই সৃষ্ট এবং নিজেদের ভালও করতে পারে না, মন্দও করতে পারে না এবং জীবন, মরণ ও পুনরুজ্জীবনের ও তারা মালিক নয়।”
“اور (لوگوں نے) اس کے سوا اور معبود بنا لئے ہیں جو کوئی چیز بھی پیدا نہیں کرسکتے اور خود پیدا کئے گئے ہیں۔ اور نہ اپنے نقصان اور نفع کا کچھ اختیار رکھتے ہیں اور نہ مرنا ان کے اختیار میں ہے اور نہ جینا اور نہ مر کر اُٹھ کھڑے ہونا”
