Surah Al-Furqan · Ayah 40

“And indeed they have passed by the township whereon was rained the fatal rain. Can it be that they have not seen it? Nay, but they hope for no resurrection.”

“And the (Unbelievers) must indeed have passed by the town on which was rained a shower of evil: did they not then see it (with their own eyes)? But they fear not the Resurrection.”

“And they have already come upon the town which was showered with a rain of evil. So have they not seen it? But they are not expecting resurrection.”

“তারা তো সেই জনপদের উপর দিয়েই যাতায়াত করে, যার ওপর বর্ষিত হয়েছে মন্দ বৃষ্টি। তবে কি তারা তা প্রত্যক্ষ করে না? বরং তারা পুনরুজ্জীবনের আশঙ্কা করে না।”

“اور یہ کافر اس بستی پر بھی گزر چکے ہیں جس پر بری طرح کا مینہ برسایا گیا تھا۔ کیا وہ اس کو دیکھتے نہ ہوں گے۔ بلکہ ان کو (مرنے کے بعد) جی اُٹھنے کی امید ہی نہیں تھی۔”
