Surah Aal ʿImran · Ayah 119

“Lo! ye are those who love them though they love you not, and ye believe in all the Scripture. When they fall in with you they say: We believe; but when they go apart they bite their finger-tips at you, for rage. Say: Perish in your rage! Lo! Allah is Aware of what is hidden in (your) breasts.”

“Ah! ye are those who love them, but they love you not,- though ye believe in the whole of the Book. When they meet you, they say, "We believe": But when they are alone, they bite off the very tips of their fingers at you in their rage. Say: "Perish in your rage; Allah knoweth well all the secrets of the heart."”

“Here you are loving them but they are not loving you, while you believe in the Scripture - all of it. And when they meet you, they say, "We believe." But when they are alone, they bite their fingertips at you in rage. Say, "Die in your rage. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts."”

“দেখ! তোমরাই তাদের ভালবাস, কিন্তু তারা তোমাদের প্রতি মোটেও সদভাব পোষণ করে না। আর তোমরা সমস্ত কিতাবেই বিশ্বাস কর। অথচ তারা যখন তোমাদের সাথে এসে মিশে, বলে, আমরা ঈমান এনেছি। পক্ষান্তরে তারা যখন পৃথক হয়ে যায়, তখন তোমাদের উপর রোষবশতঃ আঙ্গুল কামড়াতে থাকে। বলুন, তোমরা আক্রোশে মরতে থাক। আর আল্লাহ মনের কথা ভালই জানেন।”

“دیکھو تم ایسے (صاف دل) لوگ ہو کہ ان لوگوں سے دوستی رکھتے ہو حالانکہ وہ تم سے دوستی نہیں رکھتے اور تم سب کتابوں پر ایمان رکھتے ہو (اور وہ تمہاری کتاب کو نہیں مانتے) اور جب تم سے ملتے ہیں تو کہتے ہیں ہم ایمان لے آئے اور جب الگ ہوتے ہیں تو تم پر غصے کے سبب انگلیاں کاٹ کاٹ کھاتے ہیں (ان سے) کہہ دو کہ (بدبختو) غصے میں مر جاؤ خدا تمہارے دلوں کی باتوں سے خوب واقف ہے”
