Surah Aal ʿImran · Ayah 188

“Think not that those who exult in what they have given, and love to be praised for what they have not done - Think not, they are in safety from the doom. A painful doom is theirs.”

“Think not that those who exult in what they have brought about, and love to be praised for what they have not done,- think escape the penalty. For them is a penalty Grievous indeed.”

“And never think that those who rejoice in what they have perpetrated and like to be praised for what they did not do - never think them [to be] in safety from the punishment, and for them is a painful punishment.”

“তুমি মনে করো না, যারা নিজেদের কৃতকর্মের উপর আনন্দিত হয় এবং না করা বিষয়ের জন্য প্রশংসা কামনা করে, তারা আমার নিকট থেকে অব্যাহতি লাভ করেছে। বস্তুতঃ তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব।”

“جو لوگ اپنے (ناپسند) کاموں سے خوش ہوتے ہیں اور پسندیدہ کام) جو کرتے نہیں ان کے لئے چاہتے ہیں کہ ان ک تعریف کی جائے ان کی نسبت خیال نہ کرنا کہ وہ عذاب سے رستگار ہوجائیں گے۔ اور انہیں درد دینے والا عذاب ہوگا”
