Surah Al-Maidah · Ayah 53

“Then will the believers say (unto the people of the Scripture): are these they who swore by Allah their most binding oaths that they were surely with you? Their works have failed, and they have become the losers.”

“And those who believe will say: "Are these the men who swore their strongest oaths by Allah, that they were with you?" All that they do will be in vain, and they will fall into (nothing but) ruin.”

“And those who believe will say, "Are these the ones who swore by Allah their strongest oaths that indeed they were with you?" Their deeds have become worthless, and they have become losers.”

“মুসলমানরা বলবেঃ এরাই কি সেসব লোক, যারা আল্লাহর নামে প্রতিজ্ঞা করত যে, আমরা তোমাদের সাথে আছি? তাদের কৃতকর্মসমূহ বিফল হয়ে গেছে, ফলে তারা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়ে আছে।”

“اور اس (وقت) مسلمان (تعجب سے) کہیں گے کہ کیا یہ وہی ہیں جو خدا کی سخت سخت قسمیں کھایا کرتے تھے کہ ہم تمہارے ساتھ ہیں ان کےعمل اکارت گئے اور وہ خسارے میں پڑ گئے”
