  1. Surah Al-Baqarah · 10In their hearts is a disease, and Allah increaseth their disease. A painful doom is theirs because they lie.
  2. Surah Aal ʿImran · 1Alim. Lam. Mim.
  3. Surah Aal ʿImran · 3He hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture with truth, confirming that which was (revealed) before it, even as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel.
  4. Surah Aal ʿImran · 4Aforetime, for a guidance to mankind; and hath revealed the Criterion (of right and wrong). Lo! those who disbelieve the revelations of Allah, theirs will be a heavy doom. Allah is Mighty, Able to Requite (the wrong).
  5. Surah An-Nisa · 13These are the limits (imposed by) Allah. Whoso obeyeth Allah and His messenger, He will make him enter Gardens underneath which rivers flow, where such will dwell for ever. That will be the great success.
  6. Surah Al-Maidah · 7Remember Allah's grace upon you and His covenant by which He bound you when ye said: We hear and we obey; And keep your duty to Allah. Lo! He knoweth what is in the breasts (of men).
  7. Surah Al-Anam · 11Say (unto the disbelievers): Travel in the land, and see the nature of the consequence for the rejecters!
  8. Surah Al-Anfal · 10Allah appointed it only as good tidings, and that your hearts thereby might be at rest. Victory cometh only by the help of Allah. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise.
  9. Surah At-Tawbah · 2Travel freely in the land four months, and know that ye cannot escape Allah and that Allah will confound the disbelievers (in His Guidance).
  10. Surah At-Tawbah · 14Fight them! Allah will chastise them at your hands, and He will lay them low and give you victory over them, and He will heal the breasts of folk who are believers.
  11. Surah Hud · 12A likely thing, that thou wouldst forsake aught of that which hath been revealed unto thee, and that thy breast should be straitened for it, because they say: Why hath not a treasure been sent down for him, or an angel come with him? Thou art but a warner, and Allah is in charge of all things.
  12. Surah Ar-Rad · 5And if thou wonderest, then wondrous is their saying: When we are dust, are we then forsooth (to be raised) in a new creation? Such are they who disbelieve in their Lord; such have carcans on their necks; such are rightful owners of the Fire, they will abide therein.
  13. Surah Ar-Rad · 6And they bid thee hasten on the evil rather than the good, when exemplary punishments have indeed occurred before them. But lo! thy Lord is rich in pardon for mankind despite their wrong, and lo! thy Lord is strong in punishment.
  14. Surah Ar-Rad · 10Alike of you is he who hideth the saying and he who noiseth it abroad, he who lurketh in the night and he who goeth freely in the daytime.
  15. Surah Al-Hijr · 1Alif. Lam. Ra. These are verses of the Scripture and a plain Reading.
  16. Surah Al-Hijr · 3Let them eat and enjoy life, and let (false) hope beguile them. They will come to know!
  17. Surah Al-Hijr · 4And We destroyed no township but there was a known decree for it.
  18. Surah Al-Hijr · 8We send not down the angels save with the Fact, and in that case (the disbelievers) would not be tolerated.
  19. Surah An-Nahl · 12And He hath constrained the night and the day and the sun and the moon to be of service unto you, and the stars are made subservient by His command. Lo! herein indeed are portents for people who have sense.
  20. Surah Al-Isra · 6Then we gave you once again your turn against them, and We aided you with wealth and children and made you more in soldiery.
  21. Surah Al-Kahf · 8And lo! We shall make all that is thereon a barren mound.
  22. Surah Maryam · 12(And it was said unto his son): O John! Hold fast the Scripture. And we gave him wisdom when a child,
  23. Surah Al-Anbiya · 2Never cometh there unto them a new reminder from their Lord but they listen to it while they play,
  24. Surah Al-Anbiya · 8We gave them not bodies that would not eat food, nor were they immortals.
  25. Surah Al-Hajj · 12He calleth, beside Allah, unto that which hurteth him not nor benefiteth him. That is the far error.
  26. Surah An-Nur · 8And it shall avert the punishment from her if she bear witness before Allah four times that the thing he saith is indeed false,
  27. Surah Al-Furqan · 4Those who disbelieve say: This is naught but a lie that he hath invented, and other folk have helped him with it, so that they have produced a slander and a lie.
  28. Surah Al-Furqan · 5And they say: Fables of the men of old which he hath had written down so that they are dictated to him morn and evening.
  29. Surah Al-Furqan · 12When it seeth them from afar, they hear the crackling and the roar thereof.
  30. Surah An-Naml · 1Ta. Sin. These are revelations of the Qur'an and a Scripture that maketh plain;
  31. Surah An-Naml · 3Who establish worship and pay the poor-due and are sure of the Hereafter.
  32. Surah An-Naml · 8But when he reached it, he was called, saying: Blessed is Whosoever is in the fire and Whosoever is round about it! And Glorified be Allah, the Lord of the Worlds!
  33. Surah Al-Qasas · 12And We had before forbidden foster-mothers for him, so she said: Shall I show you a household who will rear him for you and take care of him?
  34. Surah Al-Ankabut · 6And whosoever striveth, striveth only for himself, for lo! Allah is altogether Independent of (His) creatures.
  35. Surah Ar-Rum · 8Have they not pondered upon themselves? Allah created not the heavens and the earth, and that which is between them, save with truth and for a destined end. But truly many of mankind are disbelievers in the meeting with their Lord.
  36. Surah Luqman · 12And verily We gave Luqman wisdom, saying: Give thanks unto Allah; and whosoever giveth thanks, he giveth thanks for (the good of) his soul. And whosoever refuseth - Lo! Allah is Absolute, Owner of Praise.
  37. Surah Al-Ahzab · 2And follow that which is inspired in thee from thy Lord. Lo! Allah is Aware of what ye do.
  38. Surah Al-Ahzab · 8That He may ask the loyal of their loyalty. And He hath prepared a painful doom for the unfaithful.
  39. Surah Saba · 12And unto Solomon (We gave) the wind, whereof the morning course was a month's journey and the evening course a month's journey, and We caused the fount of copper to gush forth for him, and (We gave him) certain of the jinn who worked before him by permission of his Lord. And such of them as deviated from Our command, them We caused to taste the punishment of flaming Fire.
  40. Surah Ya Sin · 8Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked.
  41. Surah As-Saffat · 4Lo! thy Lord is surely One;

  44. Surah Az-Zumar · 1The revelation of the Scripture is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise.
  45. Surah Az-Zumar · 3Surely pure religion is for Allah only. And those who choose protecting friends beside Him (say): We worship them only that they may bring us near unto Allah. Lo! Allah will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. Lo! Allah guideth not him who is a liar, an ingrate.
  46. Surah Az-Zumar · 8And when some hurt toucheth man, he crieth unto his Lord, turning unto Him (repentant). Then, when He granteth him a boon from Him he forgetteth that for which he cried unto Him before, and setteth up rivals to Allah that he may beguile (men) from his way. Say (O Muhammad, unto such an one): Take pleasure in thy disbelief a while. Lo! thou art of the owners of the Fire.
  47. Surah Ghafir · 12(It is said unto them): This is (your plight) because, when Allah only was invoked, ye disbelieved, but when some partner was ascribed to Him ye were believing. But the command belongeth only to Allah, the Sublime, the Majestic.
  48. Surah Fussilat · 6Say (unto them O Muhammad): I am only a mortal like you. It is inspired in me that your Allah is One Allah, therefor take the straight path unto Him and seek forgiveness of Him. And woe unto the idolaters,
  49. Surah Ash-Shura · 8Had Allah willed, He could have made them one community, but Allah bringeth whom He will into His mercy. And the wrong-doers have no friend nor helper.
  50. Surah Az-Zukhruf · 12He Who created all the pairs, and appointed for you ships and cattle whereupon ye ride.
  51. Surah Az-Zukhruf · 36And he whose sight is dim to the remembrance of the Beneficent, We assign unto him a devil who becometh his comrade;
  52. Surah Al-Jathiyah · 2The revelation of the Scripture is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise.
  53. Surah Al-Jathiyah · 6These are the portents of Allah which We recite unto thee (Muhammad) with truth. Then in what fact, after Allah and His portents, will they believe?
  54. Surah Al-Ahqaf · 9Say: I am no new thing among the messengers (of Allah), nor know I what will be done with me or with you. I do but follow that which is inspired in me, and I am but a plain warner.
  55. Surah Muhammad · 13And how many a township stronger than thy township (O Muhammad) which hath cast thee out, have We destroyed, and they had no helper!
  56. Surah Al-Hujurat · 4Lo! those who call thee from behind the private apartments, most of them have no sense.
  57. Surah Al-Hujurat · 5And if they had had patience till thou camest forth unto them, it had been better for them. And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
  58. Surah Al-Hujurat · 6O ye who believe! If an evil-liver bring you tidings, verify it, lest ye smite some folk in ignorance and afterward repent of what ye did.

  67. Surah Al-Hadid · 6He causeth the night to pass into the day, and He causeth the day to pass into the night, and He is knower of all that is in the breasts.
  68. Surah Al-Mujadila · 9O ye who believe! When ye conspire together, conspire not together for crime and wrongdoing and disobedience toward the messenger, but conspire together for righteousness and piety, and keep your duty toward Allah, unto whom ye will be gathered.
  69. Surah Al-Hashr · 12(For) indeed if they are driven out they go not out with them, and indeed if they are attacked they help them not, and indeed if they had helped them they would have turned and fled, and then they would not have been victorious.
  70. Surah As-Saff · 5And (remember) when Moses said unto his people: O my people! Why persecute ye me, when ye well know that I am Allah's messenger unto you? So when they went astray Allah sent their hearts astray. And Allah guideth not the evil-living folk.
  71. Surah As-Saff · 6And when Jesus son of Mary said: O Children of Israel! Lo! I am the messenger of Allah unto you, confirming that which was (revealed) before me in the Torah, and bringing good tidings of a messenger who cometh after me, whose name is the Praised One. Yet when he hath come unto them with clear proofs, they say: This is mere magic.
  72. Surah As-Saff · 9He it is Who hath sent His messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, that He may make it conqueror of all religion however much idolaters may be averse.
  73. Surah Al-Munafiqun · 1When the hypocrites come unto thee (O Muhammad), they say: We bear witness that thou art indeed Allah's messenger. And Allah knoweth that thou art indeed His messenger, and Allah beareth witness that the hypocrites indeed are speaking falsely.
  74. Surah Al-Munafiqun · 3That is because they believed, then disbelieved, therefore their hearts are sealed so that they understand not.
  75. Surah Al-Munafiqun · 7They it is who say: Spend not on behalf of those (who dwell) with Allah's messenger that they may disperse (and go away from you); when Allah's are the treasures of the heavens and the earth; but the hypocrites comprehend not.
  76. Surah At-Taghabun · 15Your wealth and your children are only a temptation, whereas Allah! with Him is an immense reward.
  77. Surah At-Tahrim · 12And Mary, daughter of 'Imran, whose body was chaste, therefor We breathed therein something of Our Spirit. And she put faith in the words of her Lord and His scriptures, and was of the obedient.
  78. Surah Al-Qalam · 9Who would have had thee compromise, that they may compromise.
  79. Surah Al-Haqqah · 2What is the Reality?
  80. Surah Al-Haqqah · 11Lo! when the waters rose, We carried you upon the ship
  81. Surah Al-Maarij · 15But nay! for lo! it is the fire of hell
  82. Surah Al-Jinn · 8And (the Jinn who had listened to the Qur'an said): We had sought the heaven but had found it filled with strong warders and meteors.
  83. Surah Al-Muzzammil · 4Or add (a little) thereto - and chant the Qur'an in measure,
  84. Surah Al-Muzzammil · 5For we shall charge thee with a word of weight.
  85. Surah Al-Muzzammil · 11Leave Me to deal with the deniers, lords of ease and comfort (in this life); and do thou respite them awhile.

  102. Surah Al-Buruj · 11Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success.

  110. Surah Ad-Duha · 2And by the night when it is stillest,
  111. Surah Ash-Sharh · 8And strive to please thy Lord.
  112. Surah Al-Qadr · 5(The night is) Peace until the rising of the dawn.
  113. Surah Al-Bayyinah · 6Lo! those who disbelieve, among the People of the Scripture and the idolaters, will abide in fire of hell. They are the worst of created beings.
  114. Surah Az-Zalzalah · 1When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake
  115. Surah Az-Zalzalah · 3And man saith: What aileth her?
  116. Surah Az-Zalzalah · 6That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds.
