  1. Surah Al-Fatihah · 5Thee (alone) we worship; Thee (alone) we ask for help.
  2. Surah Aal ʿImran · 5Lo! nothing in the earth or in the heavens is hidden from Allah.
  3. Surah Aal ʿImran · 6He it is Who fashioneth you in the wombs as pleaseth Him. There is no Allah save Him, the Almighty, the Wise.
  4. Surah Aal ʿImran · 9Our Lord! Lo! it is Thou Who gatherest mankind together to a Day of which there is no doubt. Lo! Allah faileth not to keep the tryst.
  5. Surah Al-Maidah · 1O ye who believe! Fulfil your indentures. The beast of cattle is made lawful unto you (for food) except that which is announced unto you (herein), game being unlawful when ye are on the pilgrimage. Lo! Allah ordaineth that which pleaseth Him.
  6. Surah Al-Maidah · 3Forbidden unto you (for food) are carrion and blood and swineflesh, and that which hath been dedicated unto any other than Allah, and the strangled, and the dead through beating, and the dead through falling from a height, and that which hath been killed by (the goring of) horns, and the devoured of wild beasts, saving that which ye make lawful (by the death-stroke), and that which hath been immolated unto idols. And (forbidden is it) that ye swear by the divining arrows. This is an abomination. This day are those who disbelieve in despair of (ever harming) your religion; so fear them not, fear Me! This day have I perfected your religion for you and completed My favour unto you, and have chosen for you as religion al-Islam. Whoso is forced by hunger, not by will, to sin: (for him) lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
  7. Surah Al-Maidah · 4They ask thee (O Muhammad) what is made lawful for them. Say: (all) good things are made lawful for you. And those beasts and birds of prey which ye have trained as hounds are trained, ye teach them that which Allah taught you; so eat of that which they catch for you and mention Allah's name upon it, and observe your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is swift to take account.
  8. Surah Al-Maidah · 9Allah hath promised those who believe and do good works: Theirs will be forgiveness and immense reward.
  9. Surah Al-Anam · 13Unto Him belongeth whatsoever resteth in the night and the day. He is the Hearer, the Knower.
  10. Surah Al-Araf · 7Then verily We shall narrate unto them (the event) with knowledge, for We were not absent (when it came to pass).
  11. Surah Al-Anfal · 12When thy Lord inspired the angels, (saying): I am with you. So make those who believe stand firm. I will throw fear into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Then smite the necks and smite of them each finger.
  12. Surah Yunus · 9Lo! those who believe and do good works, their Lord guideth them by their faith. Rivers will flow beneath them in the Gardens of Delight,
  13. Surah Hud · 2(Saying): Serve none but Allah. Lo! I am unto you from Him a warner and a bringer of good tidings.
  14. Surah Hud · 14And if they answer not your prayer, then know that it is revealed only in the knowledge of Allah; and that there is no Allah save Him. Will ye then be (of) those who surrender?
  15. Surah Ar-Rad · 12He it is Who showeth you the lightning, a fear and a hope, and raiseth the heavy clouds.
  16. Surah Al-Hijr · 5No nation can outstrip its term nor can they lag behind.
  17. Surah Al-Hijr · 6And they say: O thou unto whom the Reminder is revealed, lo! thou art indeed a madman!
  18. Surah Al-Hijr · 11And never came there unto them a messenger but they did mock him.
  19. Surah An-Nahl · 14And He it is Who hath constrained the sea to be of service that ye eat fresh meat from thence, and bring forth from thence ornaments which ye wear. And thou seest the ships ploughing it that ye (mankind) may seek of His bounty and that haply ye may give thanks.
  20. Surah Al-Isra · 1Glorified be He Who carried His servant by night from the Inviolable Place of Worship to the Far distant place of worship the neighbourhood whereof We have blessed, that We might show him of Our tokens! Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Seer.
  21. Surah Al-Isra · 3(They were) the seed of those whom We carried (in the ship) along with Noah. Lo! he was a grateful slave.
  22. Surah Al-Kahf · 11Then We sealed up their hearing in the Cave for a number of years.
  23. Surah Maryam · 6Who shall inherit of me and inherit (also) of the house of Jacob. And make him, my Lord, acceptable (unto Thee).
  24. Surah Maryam · 14And dutiful toward his parents. And he was not arrogant, rebellious.
  25. Surah Al-Anbiya · 10Now We have revealed unto you a Scripture wherein is your Reminder. Have ye then no sense?
  26. Surah Al-Hajj · 14Lo! Allah causeth those who believe and do good works to enter Gardens underneath which rivers flow. Lo! Allah doth what He intendeth.
  27. Surah Al-Muminun · 3And who shun vain conversation,
  28. Surah An-Nur · 10And had it not been for the grace of Allah and His mercy unto you, and that Allah is Clement, Wise, (ye had been undone).
  29. Surah Al-Furqan · 14Pray not that day for one destruction, but pray for many destructions!
  30. Surah An-Naml · 4Lo! as for those who believe not in the Hereafter, We have made their works fairseeming unto them so that they are all astray.
  31. Surah An-Naml · 5Those are they for whom is the worst of punishment, and in the Hereafter they will be the greatest losers.
  32. Surah An-Naml · 10And throw down thy staff! But when he saw it writhing as it were a demon, he turned to flee headlong; (but it was said unto him): O Moses! Fear not! the emissaries fear not in My presence,
  33. Surah Al-Qasas · 14And when he reached his full strength and was ripe, We gave him wisdom and knowledge. Thus do We reward the good.
  34. Surah Al-Qasas · 24So he watered (their flock) for them. Then he turned aside into the shade, and said: My Lord! I am needy of whatever good Thou sendest down for me.

  36. Surah Al-Ankabut · 3Lo! We tested those who were before you. Thus Allah knoweth those who are sincere, and knoweth those who feign.
  37. Surah Ar-Rum · 10Then evil was the consequence to those who dealt in evil, because they denied the revelations of Allah and made a mock of them.
  38. Surah Luqman · 6And of mankind is he who payeth for mere pastime of discourse, that he may mislead from Allah's way without knowledge, and maketh it the butt of mockery. For such there is a shameful doom.
  39. Surah Luqman · 14And We have enjoined upon man concerning his partners - His mother beareth him in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years - Give thanks unto Me and unto thy parents. Unto Me is the journeying.
  40. Surah Al-Ahzab · 10When they came upon you from above you and from below you, and when eyes grew wild and hearts reached to the throats, and ye were imagining vain thoughts concerning Allah.
  41. Surah Al-Ahzab · 35Lo! men who surrender unto Allah, and women who surrender, and men who believe and women who believe, and men who obey and women who obey, and men who speak the truth and women who speak the truth, and men who persevere (in righteousness) and women who persevere, and men who are humble and women who are humble, and men who give alms and women who give alms, and men who fast and women who fast, and men who guard their modesty and women who guard (their modesty), and men who remember Allah much and women who remember - Allah hath prepared for them forgiveness and a vast reward.
  42. Surah Saba · 14And when We decreed death for him, nothing showed his death to them save a creeping creature of the earth which gnawed away his staff. And when he fell the jinn saw clearly how, if they had known the Unseen, they would not have continued in despised toil.
  43. Surah Fatir · 2That which Allah openeth unto mankind of mercy none can withhold it; and that which He withholdeth none can release thereafter. He is the Mighty, the Wise.
  44. Surah Fatir · 28And of men and beasts and cattle, in like manner, divers hues? The erudite among His bondmen fear Allah alone. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Forgiving.
  45. Surah Ya Sin · 10Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not.
  46. Surah As-Saffat · 14And seek to scoff when they behold a portent.
  47. Surah Az-Zumar · 4If Allah had willed to choose a son, He could have chosen what He would of that which He hath created. Be He Glorified! He is Allah, the One, the Absolute.
  48. Surah Az-Zumar · 5He hath created the heavens and the earth with truth. He maketh night to succeed day, and He maketh day to succeed night, and He constraineth the sun and the moon to give service, each running on for an appointed term. Is not He the Mighty, the Forgiver?
  49. Surah Az-Zumar · 10Say: O My bondmen who believe! Observe your duty to your Lord. For those who do good in this world there is good, and Allah's earth is spacious. Verily the steadfast will be paid their wages without stint.
  50. Surah Ghafir · 14Therefor (O believers) pray unto Allah, making religion pure for Him (only), however much the disbelievers be averse -

  57. Surah Al-Ahqaf · 11And those who disbelieve say of those who believe: If it had been (any) good, they would not have been before us in attaining it. And since they will not be guided by it, they say: This is an ancient lie;
  58. Surah Muhammad · 2And those who believe and do good works and believe in that which is revealed unto Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He riddeth them of their ill-deeds and improveth their state.
  59. Surah Muhammad · 15A similitude of the Garden which those who keep their duty (to Allah) are promised: Therein are rivers of water unpolluted, and rivers of milk whereof the flavour changeth not, and rivers of wine delicious to the drinkers, and rivers of clear-run honey; therein for them is every kind of fruit, with pardon from their Lord. (Are those who enjoy all this) like those who are immortal in the Fire and are given boiling water to drink so that it teareth their bowels?
  60. Surah Al-Hujurat · 8(It is) a bounty and a grace from Allah; and Allah is Knower, Wise.
  61. Surah Qaf · 11Provision (made) for men; and therewith We quicken a dead land. Even so will be the resurrection of the dead.
  62. Surah Adh-Dhariyat · 4And those who distribute (blessings) by command,
  63. Surah Adh-Dhariyat · 5Lo! that wherewith ye are threatened is indeed true,
  64. Surah Adh-Dhariyat · 14(And it will be said unto them): Taste your torment (which ye inflicted). This is what ye sought to hasten.

  71. Surah Al-Mujadila · 12O ye who believe! When ye hold conference with the messenger, offer an alms before your conference. That is better and purer for you. But if ye cannot find (the wherewithal) then lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
  72. Surah Al-Hashr · 2He it is Who hath caused those of the People of the Scripture who disbelieved to go forth from their homes unto the first exile. Ye deemed not that they would go forth, while they deemed that their strongholds would protect them from Allah. But Allah reached them from a place whereof they recked not, and cast terror in their hearts so that they ruined their houses with their own hands and the hands of the believers. So learn a lesson, O ye who have eyes!
  73. Surah Al-Hashr · 14They will not fight against you in a body save in fortified villages or from behind walls. Their adversity among themselves is very great. Ye think of them as a whole whereas their hearts are divers. That is because they are a folk who have no sense.
  74. Surah As-Saff · 11Ye should believe in Allah and His messenger, and should strive for the cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives. That is better for you, if ye did but know.
  75. Surah Al-Munafiqun · 4And when thou seest them their figures please thee; and if they speak thou givest ear unto their speech. (They are) as though they were blocks of wood in striped cloaks. They deem every shout to be against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. Allah confound them! How they are perverted!
  76. Surah Al-Munafiqun · 5And when it is said unto them: Come! The messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you! they avert their faces and thou seest them turning away, disdainful.
  77. Surah Al-Munafiqun · 10And spend of that wherewith We have provided you before death cometh unto one of you and he saith: My Lord! If only thou wouldst reprieve me for a little while, then I would give alms and be among the righteous.
  78. Surah At-Talaq · 1O Prophet! When ye (men) put away women, put them away for their (legal) period and reckon the period, and keep your duty to Allah, your Lord. Expel them not from their houses nor let them go forth unless they commit open immorality. Such are the limits (imposed by) Allah; and whoso transgresseth Allah's limits, he verily wrongeth his soul. Thou knowest not: it may be that Allah will afterward bring some new thing to pass.
  79. Surah At-Talaq · 4And for such of your women as despair of menstruation, if ye doubt, their period (of waiting) shall be three months, along with those who have it not. And for those with child, their period shall be till they bring forth their burden. And whosoever keepeth his duty to Allah, He maketh his course easy for him.
  80. Surah At-Talaq · 8And how many a community revolted against the ordinance of its Lord and His messengers, and We called it to a stern account and punished it with dire punishment,
  81. Surah Al-Mulk · 8As it would burst with rage. Whenever a (fresh) host is flung therein the wardens thereof ask them: Came there unto you no warner?
  82. Surah Al-Qalam · 4And lo! thou art of a tremendous nature.

  87. Surah Al-Jinn · 10And we know not whether harm is boded unto all who are in the earth, or whether their Lord intendeth guidance for them.
  88. Surah Al-Muzzammil · 13And food which choketh (the partaker), and a painful doom
  89. Surah Al-Qiyamah · 4Yea, verily. We are Able to restore his very fingers!
  90. Surah Al-Qiyamah · 5But man would fain deny what is before him.
