  1. Surah Al-Fatihah · 3The Beneficent, the Merciful.
  2. Surah Aal ʿImran · 11Like Pharaoh's folk and those who were before them, they disbelieved Our revelations and so Allah seized them for their sins. And Allah is severe in punishment.
  3. Surah An-Nisa · 135O ye who believe! Be ye staunch in justice, witnesses for Allah, even though it be against yourselves or (your) parents or (your) kindred, whether (the case be of) a rich man or a poor man, for Allah is nearer unto both (them ye are). So follow not passion lest ye lapse (from truth) and if ye lapse or fall away, then lo! Allah is ever Informed of what ye do.
  4. Surah Al-Maidah · 5This day are (all) good things made lawful for you. The food of those who have received the Scripture is lawful for you, and your food is lawful for them. And so are the virtuous women of the believers and the virtuous women of those who received the Scripture before you (lawful for you) when ye give them their marriage portions and live with them in honour, not in fornication, nor taking them as secret concubines. Whoso denieth the faith, his work is vain and he will be among the losers in the Hereafter.
  5. Surah Al-Maidah · 6O ye who believe! When ye rise up for prayer, wash you faces, and your hands up to the elbows, and lightly rub your heads and (wash) your feet up to the ankles. And if ye are unclean, purify yourselves. And if ye are sick or on a journey, or one of you cometh from the closet, or ye have had contact with women, and ye find not water, then go to clean, high ground and rub your faces and your hands with some of it. Allah would not place a burden on you, but He would purify you and would perfect His grace upon you, that ye may give thanks.
  6. Surah Al-Maidah · 11O ye who believe! Remember Allah's favour unto you, how a people were minded to stretch out their hands against you but He withheld their hands from you; and keep your duty to Allah. In Allah let believers put their trust.

  8. Surah Al-Araf · 3(Saying): Follow that which is sent down unto you from your Lord, and follow no protecting friends beside Him. Little do ye recollect!
  9. Surah Al-Araf · 4How many a township have We destroyed! As a raid by night, or while they slept at noon, Our terror came unto them.
  10. Surah Al-Araf · 8The weighing on that day is the true (weighing). As for those whose scale is heavy, they are the successful.
  11. Surah Al-Anfal · 14That (is the award), so taste it, and (know) that for disbelievers is the torment of the Fire.
  12. Surah At-Tawbah · 7How can there be a treaty with Allah and with His messenger for the idolaters save those with whom ye made a treaty at the Inviolable Place of Worship? So long as they are true to you, be true to them. Lo! Allah loveth those who keep their duty.
  13. Surah Yunus · 11If Allah were to hasten on for men the ill (that they have earned) as they would hasten on the good, their respite would already have expired. But We suffer those who look not for the meeting with Us to wander blindly on in their contumacy.
  14. Surah Yusuf · 9(One said): Kill Joseph or cast him to some (other) land, so that your father's favour may be all for you, and (that) ye may afterward be righteous folk.
  15. Surah Ar-Rad · 2Allah it is Who raised up the heavens without visible supports, then mounted the Throne, and compelled the sun and the moon to be of service, each runneth unto an appointed term; He ordereth the course; He detaileth the revelations, that haply ye may be certain of the meeting with your Lord.
  16. Surah Ar-Rad · 14Unto Him is the real prayer. Those unto whom they pray beside Allah respond to them not at all, save as (is the response to) one who stretcheth forth his hands toward water (asking) that it may come unto his mouth, and it will never reach it. The prayer of disbelievers goeth (far) astray.
  17. Surah Al-Hijr · 13They believe not therein, though the example of the men of old hath gone before.
  18. Surah Al-Isra · 4And We decreed for the Children of Israel in the Scripture: Ye verily will work corruption in the earth twice, and ye will become great tyrants.
  19. Surah Al-Isra · 5So when the time for the first of the two came, We roused against you slaves of Ours of great might who ravaged (your) country, and it was a threat performed.
  20. Surah Al-Isra · 8It may be that your Lord will have mercy on you, but if ye repeat (the crime) We shall repeat (the punishment), and We have appointed hell a dungeon for the disbelievers.
  21. Surah Al-Kahf · 13We narrate unto thee their story with truth. Lo! they were young men who believed in their Lord, and We increased them in guidance.

  30. Surah Ash-Shuara · 8Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers.
  31. Surah An-Naml · 12And put thy hand into the bosom of thy robe, it will come forth white but unhurt. (This will be one) among nine tokens unto Pharaoh and his people Lo! they were ever evil-living folk.
  32. Surah Al-Ankabut · 4Or do those who do ill-deeds imagine that they can outstrip Us? Evil (for them) is that which they decide.
  33. Surah Al-Ankabut · 5Whoso looketh forward to the meeting with Allah (let him know that) Allah's reckoning is surely nigh, and He is the Hearer, the Knower.
  34. Surah Al-Ankabut · 8We have enjoined on man kindness to parents; but if they strive to make thee join with Me that of which thou hast no knowledge, then obey them not. Unto Me is your return and I shall tell you what ye used to do.

  37. Surah Luqman · 3A guidance and a mercy for the good,

  39. Surah Al-Ahzab · 6The Prophet is closer to the believers than their selves, and his wives are (as) their mothers. And the owners of kinship are closer one to another in the ordinance of Allah than (other) believers and the fugitives (who fled from Mecca), except that ye should do kindness to your friends. This is written in the Book (of nature).
  40. Surah Al-Ahzab · 12And when the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, were saying: Allah and His messenger promised us naught but delusion.
  41. Surah Fatir · 8Is he, the evil of whose deeds is made fairseeming unto him so that he deemeth it good, (other than Satan's dupe)? Allah verily sendeth whom He will astray, and guideth whom He will; so let not thy soul expire in sighings for them. Lo! Allah is Aware of what they do!
  42. Surah Ya Sin · 12Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register.
  43. Surah As-Saffat · 2And those who drive away (the wicked) with reproof
  44. Surah Sad · 8Hath the reminder been unto him (alone) among us? Nay, but they are in doubt concerning My reminder; nay but they have not yet tasted My doom.
  45. Surah Az-Zumar · 12And I am commanded to be the first of those who are muslims (surrender unto Him).
  46. Surah Fussilat · 4Good tidings and a warning. But most of them turn away so that they hear not.
  47. Surah Fussilat · 5And they say: Our hearts are protected from that unto which thou (O Muhammad) callest us, and in our ears there is a deafness, and between us and thee there is a veil. Act, then. Lo! we also shall be acting.
  48. Surah Fussilat · 8Lo! as for those who believe and do good works, for them is a reward enduring.
  49. Surah Ash-Shura · 13He hath ordained for you that religion which He commended unto Noah, and that which We inspire in thee (Muhammad), and that which We commended unto Abraham and Moses and Jesus, saying: Establish the religion, and be not divided therein. Dreadful for the idolaters is that unto which thou callest them. Allah chooseth for Himself whom He will, and guideth unto Himself him who turneth (toward Him).

  53. Surah Al-Jathiyah · 10Beyond them there is hell, and that which they have earned will naught avail them, nor those whom they have chosen for protecting friends beside Allah. Theirs will be an awful doom.

  55. Surah Al-Fath · 8Lo! We have sent thee (O Muhammad) as a witness and a bearer of good tidings and a warner,
  56. Surah Al-Hujurat · 2O ye who believe! Lift not up your voices above the voice of the Prophet, nor shout when speaking to him as ye shout one to another, lest your works be rendered vain while ye perceive not.
  57. Surah Al-Hujurat · 10The believers are naught else than brothers. Therefore make peace between your brethren and observe your duty to Allah that haply ye may obtain mercy.
  58. Surah Al-Hujurat · 13O mankind! Lo! We have created you male and female, and have made you nations and tribes that ye may know one another. Lo! the noblest of you, in the sight of Allah, is the best in conduct.

Those who spent and fought before the victory are not upon a level (with the rest of you). Such are greater in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards. Unto each hath Allah promised good. And Allah is Informed of what ye do.
  69. Surah Al-Mujadila · 11O ye who believe! when it is said unto you, Make room! in assemblies, then make room; Allah will make way for you (hereafter). And when it is said, Come up higher! go up higher; Allah will exalt those who believe among you, and those who have knowledge, to high ranks. Allah is Informed of what ye do.
  70. Surah Al-Mujadila · 14Hast thou not seen those who take for friends a folk with whom Allah is wroth? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear a false oath knowingly.
  71. Surah Al-Mumtahanah · 7It may be that Allah will ordain love between you and those of them with whom ye are at enmity. Allah is Mighty, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
  72. Surah Al-Mumtahanah · 8Allah forbiddeth you not those who warred not against you on account of religion and drove you not out from your homes, that ye should show them kindness and deal justly with them. Lo! Allah loveth the just dealers.
  73. Surah As-Saff · 2O ye who believe! Why say ye that which ye do not?
  74. Surah As-Saff · 4Lo! Allah loveth them who battle for His cause in ranks, as if they were a solid structure.
  75. Surah As-Saff · 13And (He will give you) another (blessing) which ye love: help from Allah and present victory. Give good tidings (O Muhammad) to believers.
  76. Surah Al-Jumuah · 9O ye who believe! When the call is heard for the prayer of the day of congregation, haste unto remembrance of Allah and leave your trading. That is better for you if ye did but know.
  77. Surah At-Taghabun · 6That was because their messengers (from Allah) kept coming unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), but they said: Shall mere mortals guide us? So they disbelieved and turned away, and Allah was independent (of them). Allah is Absolute, Owner of Praise.
  78. Surah At-Talaq · 5That is the commandment of Allah which He revealeth unto you. And whoso keepeth his duty to Allah, He will remit from him his evil deeds and magnify reward for him.
  79. Surah At-Talaq · 6Lodge them where ye dwell, according to your wealth, and harass them not so as to straiten life for them. And if they are with child, then spend for them till they bring forth their burden. Then, if they give suck for you, give them their due payment and consult together in kindness; but if ye make difficulties for one another, then let some other woman give suck for him (the father of the child).
  80. Surah At-Talaq · 10Allah hath prepared for them stern punishment; so keep your duty to Allah, O men of understanding! O ye who believe! Now Allah hath sent down unto you a reminder,
