  1. Surah Al-Baqarah · 5These depend on guidance from their Lord. These are the successful.
  2. Surah Al-Baqarah · 6As for the Disbelievers, Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not it is all one for them; they believe not.
  3. Surah Al-Baqarah · 11And when it is said unto them: Make not mischief in the earth, they say: We are peacemakers only.
  4. Surah An-Nisa · 1O mankind! Be careful of your duty to your Lord Who created you from a single soul and from it created its mate and from them twain hath spread abroad a multitude of men and women. Be careful of your duty toward Allah in Whom ye claim (your rights) of one another, and toward the wombs (that bare you). Lo! Allah hath been a watcher over you.
  5. Surah An-Nisa · 3And if ye fear that ye will not deal fairly by the orphans, marry of the women, who seem good to you, two or three or four; and if ye fear that ye cannot do justice (to so many) then one (only) or (the captives) that your right hands possess. Thus it is more likely that ye will not do injustice.
  6. Surah An-Nisa · 4And give unto the women (whom ye marry) free gift of their marriage portions; but if they of their own accord remit unto you a part thereof, then ye are welcome to absorb it (in your wealth).
  7. Surah An-Nisa · 14And whoso disobeyeth Allah and His messenger and transgresseth His limits, He will make him enter Fire, where he will dwell for ever; his will be a shameful doom.
  8. Surah Al-Anam · 7Had we sent down unto thee (Muhammad) (actual) writing upon parchment, so that they could feel it with their hands, those who disbelieve would have said: This is naught else than mere magic.
  9. Surah Al-Anam · 12Say: Unto whom belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth? Say: Unto Allah. He hath prescribed for Himself mercy, that He may bring you all together to the Day of Resurrection whereof there is no doubt. Those who ruin their souls will not believe.
  10. Surah Al-Anfal · 11When He made the slumber fall upon you as a reassurance from him and sent down water from the sky upon you, that thereby He might purify you, and remove from you the fear of Satan, and make strong your hearts and firm (your) feet thereby.
  11. Surah Yunus · 2Is it a wonder for mankind that We have inspired a man among them, saying: Warn mankind and bring unto those who believe the good tidings that they have a sure footing with their Lord? The disbelievers say: Lo! this is a mere wizard.
  12. Surah Yunus · 8Their home will be the Fire because of what they used to earn.
  13. Surah Hud · 13Or they say: He hath invented it. Say: Then bring ten surahs, the like thereof, invented, and call on everyone ye can beside Allah, if ye are truthful!
  14. Surah Ar-Rad · 11For him are angels ranged before him and behind him, who guard him by Allah's command. Lo! Allah changeth not the condition of a folk until they (first) change that which is in their hearts; and if Allah willeth misfortune for a folk there is none that can repel it, nor have they a defender beside Him.
  15. Surah Ibrahim · 5We verily sent Moses with Our revelations, saying: Bring thy people forth from darkness unto light. And remind them of the days of Allah. Lo! therein are revelations for each steadfast, thankful (heart).
  16. Surah Ibrahim · 6And (remind them) how Moses said unto his people: Remember Allah's favour unto you when He delivered you from Pharaoh's folk who were afflicting you with dreadful torment, and were slaying your sons and sparing your women; that was a tremendous trial from your Lord.
  17. Surah Al-Hijr · 10We verily sent (messengers) before thee among the factions of the men of old.
  18. Surah An-Nahl · 1The commandment of Allah will come to pass, so seek not ye to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate (with Him).
  19. Surah An-Nahl · 3He hath created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He Exalted above all that they associate (with Him).
  20. Surah An-Nahl · 13And whatsoever He hath created for you in the earth of divers hues, lo! therein is indeed a portent for people who take heed.
  21. Surah Al-Kahf · 6Yet it may be, if they believe not in this statement, that thou (Muhammad) wilt torment thy soul with grief over their footsteps.
  22. Surah Al-Kahf · 9Or deemest thou that the People of the Cave and the Inscription are a wonder among Our portents?
  23. Surah Maryam · 13And compassion from Our presence, and purity; and he was devout,
  24. Surah Al-Anbiya · 9Then we fulfilled the promise unto them. So we delivered them and whom We would, and We destroyed the prodigals.
  25. Surah Al-Anbiya · 107We sent thee not save as a mercy for the peoples.
  26. Surah Al-Hajj · 2On the day when ye behold it, every nursing mother will forget her nursling and every pregnant one will be delivered of her burden, and thou (Muhammad) wilt see mankind as drunken, yet they will not be drunken, but the Doom of Allah will be strong (upon them).
  27. Surah Al-Hajj · 13He calleth unto him whose harm is nearer than his benefit; verily an evil patron and verily an evil friend!
  28. Surah An-Nur · 9And a fifth (time) that the wrath of Allah be upon her if he speaketh truth.
  29. Surah Al-Furqan · 13And when they are flung into a narrow place thereof, chained together, they pray for destruction there.
  30. Surah Ash-Shuara · 4If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it.
  31. Surah Ash-Shuara · 5Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it.
  32. Surah An-Naml · 9O Moses! Lo! it is I, Allah, the Mighty, the Wise.

  34. Surah Al-Qasas · 3We narrate unto thee (somewhat) of the story of Moses and Pharaoh with truth, for folk who believe.
  35. Surah Al-Qasas · 13So We restored him to his mother that she might be comforted and not grieve, and that she might know that the promise of Allah is true. But most of them know not.
  36. Surah Ar-Rum · 6It is a promise of Allah. Allah faileth not His promise, but most of mankind know not.
  37. Surah Ar-Rum · 9Have they not travelled in the land and seen the nature of the consequence for those who were before them? They were stronger than these in power, and they dug the earth and built upon it more than these have built. Messengers of their own came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty). Surely Allah wronged them not, but they did wrong themselves.
  38. Surah Luqman · 13And (remember) when Luqman said unto his son, when he was exhorting him: O my dear son! Ascribe no partners unto Allah. Lo! to ascribe partners (unto Him) is a tremendous wrong -
  39. Surah Al-Ahzab · 9O ye who believe! Remember Allah's favour unto you when there came against you hosts, and We sent against them a great wind and hosts ye could not see. And Allah is ever Seer of what ye do.
  40. Surah Saba · 2He knoweth that which goeth into the earth and that which cometh forth from it, and that descendeth from the heaven and that which ascendeth into it. He is the Merciful, the Forgiving.
  41. Surah Saba · 13They made for him what he willed: synagogues and statues, basins like wells and boilers built into the ground. Give thanks, O House of David! Few of My bondmen are thankful.
  42. Surah Ya Sin · 9And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not.
  43. Surah As-Saffat · 13And heed not when they are reminded,
  44. Surah Sad · 4And they marvel that a warner from among themselves hath come unto them, and the disbelievers say: This is a wizard, a charlatan.
  45. Surah Sad · 5Maketh he the gods One Allah? Lo! that is an astounding thing.
  46. Surah Az-Zumar · 9Is he who payeth adoration in the watches of the night, prostrate and standing, bewaring of the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, (to be accounted equal with a disbeliever)? Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Are those who know equal with those who know not? But only men of understanding will pay heed.

  48. Surah Ghafir · 3The Forgiver of sin, the Accepter of repentance, the Stern in punishment, the Bountiful. There is no Allah save Him. Unto Him is the journeying.
  49. Surah Ghafir · 13He it is Who showeth you His portents, and sendeth down for you provision from the sky. None payeth heed save him who turneth (unto Him) repentant.
  50. Surah Ash-Shura · 6And as for those who choose protecting friends beside Him, Allah is Warden over them, and thou art in no wise a guardian over them.
  51. Surah Ash-Shura · 9Or have they chosen protecting friends besides Him? But Allah, He (alone) is the Protecting Friend. He quickeneth the dead, and He is Able to do all things.
  52. Surah Az-Zukhruf · 13That ye may mount upon their backs, and may remember your Lord's favour when ye mount thereon, and may say: Glorified be He Who hath subdued these unto us, and we were not capable (of subduing them);
  53. Surah Al-Jathiyah · 7Woe unto each sinful liar,
  54. Surah Al-Ahqaf · 2The revelation of the Scripture is from Allah the Mighty, the Wise.
  55. Surah Al-Ahqaf · 10Bethink you: If it is from Allah and ye disbelieve therein, and a witness of the Children of Israel hath already testified to the like thereof and hath believed, and ye are too proud (what plight is yours)? Lo! Allah guideth not wrong-doing folk.
  56. Surah Muhammad · 14Is he who relieth on a clear proof from his Lord like those for whom the evil that they do is beautified while they follow their own lusts?
  57. Surah Al-Hujurat · 7And know that the messenger of Allah is among you. If he were to obey you in much of the government, ye would surely be in trouble; but Allah hath endeared the faith to you and hath beautified it in your hearts, and hath made disbelief and lewdness and rebellion hateful unto you. Such are they who are the rightly guided.
  58. Surah Qaf · 4We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book.
  59. Surah Qaf · 5Nay, but they have denied the truth when it came unto them, therefor they are now in troubled case.
  60. Surah Qaf · 10And lofty date-palms with ranged clusters,
  61. Surah Adh-Dhariyat · 13(It is) the day when they will be tormented at the Fire,

  67. Surah Al-Hadid · 7Believe in Allah and His messenger, and spend of that whereof He hath made you trustees; and such of you as believe and spend (aright), theirs will be a great reward.
  68. Surah Al-Mujadila · 2Such of you as put away your wives (by saying they are as their mothers) - They are not their mothers; none are their mothers except those who gave them birth - they indeed utter an ill word and a lie. And lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
  69. Surah Al-Mujadila · 10Lo! Conspiracy is only of the devil, that he may vex those who believe; but he can harm them not at all unless by Allah's leave. In Allah let believers put their trust.
  70. Surah Al-Hashr · 13Ye are more awful as a fear in their bosoms than Allah. That is because they are a folk who understand not.
  71. Surah As-Saff · 10O ye who believe! Shall I show you a commerce that will save you from a painful doom?
  72. Surah Al-Jumuah · 4That is the bounty of Allah; which He giveth unto whom He will. Allah is of Infinite Bounty.
  73. Surah Al-Jumuah · 5The likeness of those who are entrusted with the Law of Moses, yet apply it not, is as the likeness of the ass carrying books. Wretched is the likeness of folk who deny the revelations of Allah. And Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk.
  74. Surah Al-Munafiqun · 8They say: Surely, if we return to Al-Madinah the mightier will soon drive out the weaker; when might belongeth to Allah and to His messenger and to the believers; but the hypocrites know not.
  75. Surah At-Taghabun · 1All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth glorifieth Allah; unto Him belongeth Sovereignty and unto Him belongeth praise, and He is Able to do all things.
  76. Surah At-Taghabun · 3He created the heavens and the earth with truth, and He shaped you and made good your shapes, and unto Him is the journeying.
  77. Surah At-Talaq · 7Let him who hath abundance spend of his abundance, and he whose provision is measured, let him spend of that which Allah hath given him. Allah asketh naught of any soul save that which He hath given it. Allah will vouchsafe, after hardship, ease.
  78. Surah Al-Mulk · 7When they are flung therein they hear its roaring as it boileth up,
  79. Surah Al-Qalam · 10Neither obey thou each feeble oath-monger,
  80. Surah Al-Haqqah · 12That We might make it a memorial for you, and that remembering ears (that heard the story) might remember.
  81. Surah Al-Maarij · 2Upon the disbelievers, which none can repel,
  82. Surah Nuh · 6But all my calling doth but add to their repugnance;
  83. Surah Al-Jinn · 9And we used to sit on places (high) therein to listen. But he who listeneth now findeth a flame in wait for him;

  88. Surah Al-Insan · 1Hath there come upon man (ever) any period of time in which he was a thing unremembered?
  89. Surah Al-Insan · 4Lo! We have prepared for disbelievers manacles and carcans and a raging fire.
  90. Surah Al-Insan · 10Lo! we fear from our Lord a day of frowning and of fate.
  91. Surah Al-Mursalat · 12For what day is the time appointed?
  92. Surah An-Naziat · 6On the day when the first trump resoundeth.

  109. Surah At-Tin · 7So who henceforth will give the lie to thee about the judgment?
  110. Surah Al-Bayyinah · 4Nor were the People of the Scripture divided until after the clear proof came unto them.

  114. Surah Al-Adiyat · 7And lo! he is a witness unto that;
  115. Surah Al-Fil · 1Hast thou not seen how thy Lord dealt with the owners of the Elephant?
  116. Surah Quraysh · 2For their taming (We cause) the caravans to set forth in winter and summer.
